Here is my second Still-Life Drawing and why I chose it. First off, I wanted to a drawing that I am used to. Earlier towards the beginning of the quarter, I realized that a lot of assignments were drawn from observation, so I decided to continue on with those types of drawings. Second, I felt that drawing the paper horizontally would be better because the objects that I was drawing required a lot of horizontal space. In this drawing, I wanted to make sure every type of line was used at least once because it is one of the things you need in order to have success in this drawing. The other thing as always I wanted to make sure I got down was proportion because the drawing itself would look terrible if something was off. Finally, I also wanted to include cast shadows so the viewer knows where the light is coming from. This was how I felt after drawing my second Still-Life Drawing.
